ABOUT ME!
Keegan (he/him) is a southern Illinois based performer, educator, clinician, and multidisciplinary artist. He loves all things music, theater, and arts-education related and views the performing arts as a way to catapult a person into new experiences that enhance their sense of confidence and self-worth, while building a strong sense of community and belonging.
Keegan earned his Bachelor of Music in Education and Master of Arts degree in Vocal Performance and Choral/Orchestral Conducting from Eastern Illinois University. He also holds a Masters of Science in Educational Leadership from Eastern Illinois University.
As an educator, he has taught across grades K-12 in band, choir, and general music He has directed and choreographed numerous middle and high school musical productions across Southern Illinois and Indiana, and is the co-founder of the OAC/OCC Summer Children's Theater Workshop. Several of his favorite past roles from the stage include Motel in Fiddler on the Roof, Peter Pan in Peter Pan, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, and Dickon in The Secret Garden.
When not on stage or in the classroom, you can find Keegan playing piano, in the gym, or enjoying an Old Fashioned.
